It's the Goth Eurythmics, with their patent phased whoosh of melody, mystery and more-money-than-Lush type production. Awesome but somewhat unengaging.

"Great bass. Are these the ones who gave us Single Of The Week for 'Free Range'? That Curve... I saw them in a hotel in Birmingham. Didn't talk to them. I wouldn't have thought they'd sound like this. Good though. Bass is brilliant, innit? The vocals are over-produced. It is really 4AD, though, that innit? Good though."
